Understanding Form Builder Action Buttons

The Form Builder row action buttons provide quick access to preview, setup, field management, publishing, locations, submissions, cloning, and deletion controls.

The Form Builder list view includes action buttons for each form. Action buttons give you quick access to the most common tasks related to that form.

The controls you see depend on your CMS permissions. Users with restricted permissions may not be able to access all features.

Form Builder action buttons can include:

Control	What It Does
	Preview opens the form in a new browser tab so you can review the form without opening the public page where it is used. The preview uses a generic template, so the final public presentation can vary based on the page and site design.
	Form Setup opens the setup view where you update the form name, CAPTCHA, publish state, notification behavior, greeting message, confirmation message, redirect behavior, and automatic replies.
	Field Management opens the builder interface where you add fields, remove fields, rearrange the form, and change field-level settings.
	Publish or Unpublish controls whether the form is available for public use. A form must be published before it can be selected for public display.
	Locations shows public pages where the form is being used. Check Locations before making major changes or deleting a form.
	Submissions opens saved submission records so you can review, filter, export, or delete submission data collected through that form.
	Clone creates a new form based on an existing form. Cloning copies the form setup and fields, but it does not copy submission records.
	Delete permanently removes the form and its submission data when deletion is allowed. Delete is not available when the form is currently used on a public page.
