The order of uploaded photos in the photo management view controls the order in which photos appear on public gallery pages.
The controls you see depend on your CMS permissions. Users with restricted permissions may not be able to access all features.
To reorder photos:
- Open the Photo Gallery from the Plugins accordion.
- Open the album's photo management view.
- Drag uploaded images into the desired order.
Drag uploaded images to change their display order.
Ordering is saved automatically. There is no separate Save button for photo order.
Only uploaded images can be reordered. Pending images cannot be reordered because they have not been uploaded to the album yet.
The album cover does not control display order. A cover image can appear anywhere in the album order.
The image order set in the album is used when the gallery display follows album order. If the page gallery has Randomize Order enabled, the public display order is randomized instead.
