Understanding Blog Post Actions and Bulk Actions
The Blog list view includes row actions for individual posts and bulk actions for selected posts.
The controls you see depend on your CMS permissions. Users with restricted permissions may not be able to access all features.

Blog post action buttons let you preview, publish or unpublish, edit, review history, or delete an individual post.
Post Row Actions
Blog post row actions include:
- Preview: opens a preview of the post in a new browser tab.
- Publish or Unpublish: changes whether the post is public. In the Published tab, this action unpublishes the post. In the Unpublished tab, this action publishes the post.
- Edit: opens the post detail view so you can update the post.
- History: opens saved versions of the post so you can review or restore earlier changes.
- Delete: permanently removes the post after confirmation.
The preview is useful for reviewing post content, but the final public presentation can vary based on the Blog page settings. Unpublished posts can only be previewed by logged-in CMS users with access to the Blog tool.
Use the Featured control when a post should be treated as featured content. Featured status affects how the post is prioritized on public Blog pages when the page layout supports featured posts.
Bulk Actions
Bulk actions apply to selected posts.
To use bulk actions:
- Open the Blog tool from the Plugins accordion.
- Select the Published or Unpublished tab.
- Select one or more posts.
- Open the Bulk Actions menu.
- Choose the action you want to apply.
The available bulk action options depend on the tab you are viewing.
In the Published tab, bulk actions can include:
- Unpublish
- Delete
In the Unpublished tab, bulk actions can include:
- Publish
- Delete
Review selected posts carefully before using bulk actions, especially bulk delete.
