Managing Tags Inline

Some plugin screens allow tags to be managed inline while you are editing a content record.

Inline tag management lets you search for existing tags or create a new tag without leaving the record you are working on.

The video shows a new tag being created inline, followed by an existing tag being found and selected.

Finding an Existing Tag

Type a tag name or part of a tag name in the inline tag field.

If a matching tag exists, select it from the results to add it to the record.

Creating a New Tag Inline

If no matching tag exists, use the Create New option to create the tag from the term you entered.

After the new tag is created, it is added to the record.

When to Use the Full Tag Manager

Use the full Tag Manager when you need to review usage counts, delete tags, search across all tags, or review the full tag list.
